I heard a phrase the other day and it triggered off something in me that I found to be true in my life.

Linchpin Moments.

It’s those moments when you either immediately know or eventually know, something just happened that made a quantifiable change in you.

Let’s be honest, at least how I see it, you are being changed every second, every moment of every hour of every day… and I think that is how God works. Nothing gets wasted. However, the ‘constant changes’ I am referring to is like the shifting of the sands over thousands of years… it’s just a normal ‘slow’ process that we don’t really pay attention too.

However, there are those moments or events where there is a ‘major’ change. I don’t think those changes, those events are accidents. I think those are the chiropractor movements of God. I have a pastor friend who described how he believes God works by getting us into position, little more here, little positioning there….just getting you in the right place and then ‘CRACK’…big move,

And those…are what I call…the Linchpin moments.

What do you do with them?

Don’t waste them. You know the Children of Israel, in their march across the desert, would leave stones stacked as memorials to the great things God had done.

Mark those Linchpin moments… let the lessons of those moments sink deep down into your bones.

Secondly, Pass it on. I believe that life is about learning and giving. It isn’t about hoarding and keeping. What you learn through your growth path isn’t just for you. It’s for all of us. Share it, give it, talk about it, let others see the good, the bad, the ugly, the growth, the pain…THE PROCESS.

There is so much we can learn from each other as we march through life. Don’t waste it.

Those Linchpin moments change you and if you allow, change those around you.

Peace on your Journey this week.
